Lovely! - I discovered your blog several months ago, and have been inspired to start creating my own handsewn treasures from recycled materials: embellished knitting bags, hotpads, and a very pretty dress for my four year-old from a discarded men's turtleneck and a woman's t-shirt. And I'm just getting started. Thank you for your creative, thought-provoking, intelligent posts . . . Rachel in Canada

ReplyDeleteHello Kathrin! I've been a long-time but shy reader of your blog. I love your ideas, writing, and aesthetics. Your hand-sewing is inspirational, but unlike yours, my husband will not sit next to me if I try to sew in the car. One of my friends was so intrigued by the foundling home post that she applied for a grant to study its holdings. Thank you for the daily beauty and joy!
