Time to finish up yesterday's hammock project. Here's how:
Now comes the part, where you stabilize the ornament with a slightly smaller felt circle. Close it with overcast stitches:
And now you're done.
Make a few. They take a little practice, but they're wonderful gifts.
I also started to experiment with some looser variations of the theme, but that's a different story. This one looks like 4th of July fire works.

ReplyDeleteHi Annekata! I've used another one of your beautiful tutorials as inspiration for my holiday crafting! I made a few of these for an ornament swap, and they were quite a hit! I've put pictures on my blog again, if you would like to see! I had a bunch of problems stitching a fairly even circle, but I think this project is pretty forgiving about that.
