Summer is here

Strandkorb

Summer is here, school is over and blogging will need to take a back seat, until we fall into a new rhythm.
Currently finishing up the book "Half a Sky", and looking for inspiring reading material to enjoy while sitting in my Strandkorb, which in reality is my much less spectacular lawn chair.

As I really enjoyed your suggestions last time, do you have any good ideas for summer reading?

See you soon!

  2. I agree. The book thief is a must read. I also recommend Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver (or any of her books).

  3. I'm going to keep tabs on your comments...it's been awhile since I had a good book to read and it's driving me nuts to not have a nice book to take outside while N plays!

I reserved a copy of 32 Candles at our library b/c I found out that the author took a sewing class at our studio! Looking forward to trying it out.

  5. Pride and Prejudice, jane austen. Also for summer reading at the beach or lake, I recommend: Nicolas Sparks books, very entertaining reading, any of them. I loved them all.

  6. Oh, and I bought "To Die For; Is fashion wearing out the world?" by Lucy Siegle.

  7. I suggest Copaganda: Why the Constitution Doesn't Apply to You. It just came out last month and I'd call it a must-read.
